This is a nice story.
Some of the usual great Messi moments but also several I had not seen before.
Bill Simmons talks with the great Bill Russell. (49-minute YouTube.)
"Deer Hunting".
" I Got Thrown Out of a Bar" (Includes offensive, very non-PC language.)
At that point, I had the right to remain silent, but I didn't have ability.
And finally, ending with a huge laugh from the crowd: "You Can't Fix Stupid".
There may well be some truth in the explanations proffered here. But personally, I just think it's because today's music is simply, objectively mostly worse.
(Another explanation not offered in the piece: when people get nostalgic for the music of their youth, they usually remember the best music from that time and forget there was a whole lot of crap then, too.)
A great movie--featuring peak Bill Murray--despite this: ". . . it’s almost impossible to explain what it’s about".
Assuming this is on the up-and-up--I wouldn't have thought a toilet paper roll could be patented--this seems to settle one of the great debates--over or under?--of our time.
Possibly helpful. (I haven't tried them yet and I hope I don't need to.)
Difficult to believe. It must have been really quiet.
Article argues for "healthy skepticism" about hype for the vagus nerve. Good. That's stuff I don't have read now.
