I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one noticing this. 

And they also should fix another problem: high-suspense scenes, especially car chases, now typically take place in low light or even the dark. You can't see either the chaser or the chasee clearly. Bring back the chases of Bullitt and The French Connection. (The Bourne Legacy being a terrific exception.)

Pretty amazing. I bought a hardcover book as a gift and upon finding out the recipient already had it, I signed up for a return to Amazon. They refunded my money and told me just to keep the book.

I'm skeptical: the results seem a little too good. (The study is available here.)

In a sample of 50 papers from the top journals--for examples, Cell, Science, and Nature--54% had findings that weren't reproduced.

The study finds that unfortunately, Labradors and Goldens are among the overbred.
