Newmark's Door

So I was reading this James Lileks post when I came across a picture of a truly hideous building--scroll down a bit, about six or seven screens. Using the amazing Google, I found out this is a "concept project in Manhattan". 

All I can say is what they famously said in Airplane!: Surely you can't be serious.
