Alex Tabarrok noted this week that he posted on 11/13/08 that the federal government should sell some assets. I posted a similar thought on 11/10/08 (and again on 9/28/09).

Alex notes further that the Obama Administration is apparently beginning to implement the idea.

Note: I'm not claiming--and I'd guess Alex wouldn't claim--any sort of originality for the idea. I'm just noting how some economists were two years ahead of the current administration.
