Global warming? Not so much

This is discouraging. Jerome Groopman, professor of medicine at Harvard, writes, ". . . doctors get their diagnoses wrong 15 percent to 20 percent of the time, and half of these mistakes result in serious harm or even death . . ."


Even worse, Dr. Groopman writes that some of these errors are those famously described 25 years ago by Kahneman and Tversky, such as anchoring and availability.

Note to med schools: please fix this, stat!
