Global warming? Not so much

For forecasting practioners and researchers

One of the best textbooks I've read, on any subject, is J. Scott Armstrong's Long Range Forecasting. It is clear, concise, vigorous, and hugely informative.

But it is over 20 years old, and Professor Armstrong has been busy in those 20 years. Hence, for any businessperson needing to forecast, or any researcher interested in the latest developments in forecasting science, I would enthusiastically recommend Professor Armstrong's (joint with Professor Kesten Green) website, Forecasting Principles. It is as good or better as Professor Armstrong's text, but it is broader in scope and it is up to date.
