Interview with economist Glenn Loury. The whole thing is interesting and I agree with almost all of what he says, but I especially like this:

On college campuses, I'm struck by the meta-argumentation. We're not arguing about the questions at hand . . . We're arguing about labels, about what to call our holidays or which portraits to rearrange on the wall.
