"Map: Where Europeans speak English"

"It shows that though Europeans are very widely exposed to English, there's a stark regional divide in how comfortable people are with really using it. In Northern Europe, most people can converse in English whereas in Southern Europe they can't."

Very interesting illustration. It's amazing that 90% of the Dutch speak English. It's also interesting that only 95% of Britons speak English. I guess most of the others are Urdu speakers who are busy trying to implement sharia law in Londonistan.
