"The California Drought: Water and Power"

The problem is that SoCal, in its natural state, is basically a desert.

The answer of course is to provide even more water to farmers at crazily subsidized prices. I mean imagine what would happen if farmers actually had to pay the market rate for the enormous amounts of water they consume to irrigate agriculture that is better grown in other parts of the country.
