A fine weekend read

The full text of Ernest Hemingway's The Old Man and the Sea.

Just because it's so very, very good.

Paul Johnson did a fine job showing what a d-bag Hemingway was, but the man can write, can't he? I read The Old Man and the Sea the first time in one sitting because I couldn't put it down. For Whom the Bell Tolls remains the best war novel I've ever read, with one of the most unforgettable book endings ever.
