I've read this "fact" for decades; it nnever sounded quite right to me. Now I know why. Thanks for sharing this.

Even if it were true, the primary difference STILL REMAINS. Henry Ford was in a much better decisions to know what is best for his own company. Also, IT'S HIS COMPANY. He can do with it whatever he wants.

By this logic, companies should be mandated to lay off a bunch of people. Lee Iacocca laid of around 10,000 people and made Chrysler a huge success.
