Two cautionary notes for Liberals

There seems to be significant skepticism about Obamacare on the Upper West Side:

This is why I argued that Obamacare, the vision, is now beyond rescue. And a surprising number of Upper West Siders apparently agreed with me.

Ruth Marcus of the WaPo thinks there should be more accountability in government. Well, if we start holding the government accountable, sooner or later, there will be a whole lot less of it.

It's getting pretty bad, I think, when your main argument for a policy is basically that people are resigned to its continuation despite its suckitude. And evidently a large proportion of Americans will give up their belief in Obama and his policies only when it pried from their cold, dead hands, to coin a phrase.
