"Evaluating Mother Jones’ '10 Pro-Gun Myths, Shot Down'"

John R. Lott:

The fact that federal court judges are citing Mother Jones’ claims about guns as evidence, particularly for what is cited, is pretty disappointing. We were recently asked to evaluate Mother Jones’“10 Pro-Gun Myths, Shot Down.” Virtually all these responses were widely available in the literature, but unfortunately Mother Jones neither acknowledges nor addresses this literature.

Also of interest regarding the gun control debate:

Two apt, funny replies to Harvey Weinstein:

"Harvey Weinstein to Change Everybody’s Mind on Firearms".

"Spare us the gun lecture, Harvey".

A really good question: "If Guns Cause More Violence, Where’s The Exploding Crime Rate?"

And "Crime study: Handguns, not 'assault rifles,' used in most mass shootings". (Not that this will deter Liberals: they'd be more than happy to ban handguns, too.)

The source of all violence, ignorance and poverty is the socialist welfare state.
