"Crappy Papers"

Sad. From Economics Job Market Rumors:

I understand that it can be difficult to come up with a good idea for the job market paper. But I have also seen quite a few papers now that are full of spelling errors and grammar mistakes. One of these papers even claimed to show t-stats in brackets when they clearly were standard errors. Throughout the whole paper.

Do such people get jobs? Where? Why do they even go on the market with that kind of work? Are they just lazy or is the training at lower-ranked schools THAT bad? Are their advisers not doing their jobs AT ALL?
