"What It's Like To Eat A $445-Per-Person, 5-Hour Dinner At The French Laundry In Napa Valley"
Most depictions of meals at very high end restaurants leave me cold, but there are some dishes in this meal that I think I'd enjoy.

There's seemingly something wrong with the bill. The restaurant charged $290 per diner for food, not $270 as stated in the article.
Also, the tax came to roughly 10.7%. Is that a normal California restaurant tax rate? Yikes.

Well, I didn't see any Roast Rump of Warbling Rhinoceros with Ecstasy Sauce but I guess that dish is out of favor.

The pecan pie looked OK. For my money, you can give the rest of it back to the Indians.

Not much there I'd wait in line for. Just another way to separate oneself from the hoi polloi in my [biased] estimation. I'd go for a good Midwestern Church potluck over this any day.
