I think guessing this would be difficult without a hint: the title means that the musician in question is not a performer but a composer.

I strongly suspect that if you ACCURATELY factored for inflation Irving Berlin would put all of these people in the corner. After all, the man lived to be a hundred (literally) and he wrote oodles of hit songs.
