I've known for many years that, contrary to one's first impression of a show produced in Hialeah, the host was not Cuban and was in fact Jewish and Chilean. And who speaks better English than most Americans.
God bless him, the show markedly illustrates the lasting power of entertaining via the lower forms of entertainment. I still sneak a peek once in a while.
