"Feeling good about oneself comes first"

Professor Peter Gordon notes a sad--if predictable--side effect of the health care law. And then he nails our friendly social do-gooders a good one.

But, hey, underemployed folks, cheer up: as a number of bad people have argued, "You can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs."

It was George Orwell, I believe, who said to someone saying this about Russia, "Where's the Omelet?" I can't find the exact quote.
