Rangers, SEALS ... takes a special person to make it all the way through. I would last maybe five minutes.


I was there 20 years ago: the Petzl headlamps, goggles, and hydration packs are new, but it looks more or less the same otherwise.

What doesn't get depicted in those photos - and something that is almost always lost in such accounts - is the huge amount of tactical knowledge that is learned at Ranger School. The physical stuff is important, sure, but only as a prerequisite.
