News from the party of tolerance and diversity
"Obama supporters rally around anti-Mormonism".
Nowhere is this more obvious than in the media, where pages upon pages have been devoted to Romney’s religion. Vicious, anti-Mormon rhetoric, ramping up in the final days leading up to the election, has been spread by MSNBC and CNN hosts, the New York Times (they have devoted anentire section of their website to articles about Mormonism), Washington Post, and the Daily Beast’s Andrew Sullivan, to name a few.

You linked to Andrew Sullivan. Shame on you. I almost clicked it. Shame on me.

U.S. Constitution, Article VI, Paragraph 3:
“The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.”
The framers of the constitution were smarter than modern liberals.

At least one of those weekly NYT articles is written by Mr. Otterson, one of the chief Latter-day Saint (Mormon) PR people. There's a tiny bit more fairness than this would lead you to believe. .. Did I just defend the NYT? I'd better go lie down.
