"FCC adopts new rules against 'robocalls'"
Boy, I sure hope this works. And they ought to include the calls of politicians and political parties, too. (But I won't hold my breath.)

Craig:
FYI, Ooma is an Internet based telephone service which allows users to select calls to be blocked. Better yet it allows users to enact the community call block service which allows specific types of callers such as Robocallers, to be blocked. In essence this means that if you and I are users of Ooma and we both have the community call block activated and I block a specific Robocaller number it will also be blocked for you.
I use Ooma and like it. The call block service is part of a premium package which costs $10 per month. But because the Ooma device I purchased promised no per call charges including no tax charges, I pay no charges other than $10 per month.
The unit costs a bit over $200 and really does work just like all other VOIP units.
