Update on the vice president's dopey comment

I wrote earlier this week that Biden's recent blather left me speechless. Fortunately, Cato scholars are on the job. For some discussion of the narrow issue in Biden's claim--the federal governtment's aid to railroads--see "It Ain't So, Joe."

Joe was always a bit dim, but I'm more and more convinced that his 'minor stroke' did more damage than realized. Seriously. Not really bad, but some short-circuited areas. I really, really don't want him to succeed to the Presidency for any reason.

At this point I'm convinced that this guy just doesn't even care what he says. He just blurts out whatever comes to mind.

Unbelievable!

I just.....uggggggggh.......

*sigh*

jorg, he has always been like that, the stroke might not have helped any, but Look at it from his point of view, telling outrageous lies, plagerism, and making crap up has served him well, it made him a Senator and Vice President!

50 years ago we were told that America's future was tied to the automobile even though there were hundreds of inter-city trains.

No we are told that America's future is tied to inter-city trains even though there are millions of automobiles.

Like windmills, politicians keep bringing back the trains.

How long will the taxpayer be jerked around?
