NOW he tells us
After years acting as one of the chief pimps for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, Rep. Barney Frank now informs us that we shouldn't be ". . . pushing low income people into owning homes that they can't afford."
Sigh. I suppose learning late is better than never learning at all, but . . .

"Learning" that's an interesting synonym for 'blowing with the wind.'

I don't suppose this counts as a "mea culpa" -- wrong religion and/or sexual orientation, not to mention complete disavowal of fault.

Yeah....this coming from the guy who said that the housing market poses no threat to the financial markets/system, and even if it did the taxpayers would not have to bail it out.
This guy is unbelievable.
P.S. Hey Barney, what ever happened to that male prostitution ring you were running out of your apartment? Just wondering.

Don't be hasty in concluding that Frank has reformed. This is probably a preliminary to calling for larger subsidies together with controls on the price of houses.
