"Thinking About Opening a Restaurant? Think Twice." Yes, it does seem as though running a successful restaurant is an extremely tough job.

Running a restaurant is very tough, I managed one for a while. On the other hand most of the restaurants which I have ever seen close, I predicted they would close.

I think that if you do it right it can be a money machine.

My city is a perfect example, even very average restaurants are crowed all the time. Most often the mistakes made are; Bad location, lack of easy access from street, lack of parking.

The others are Slow service, prices too high for the portion size. And of course, mediocre or bland food.

If I were properly capitalized I am dead certain I could make a killing in this market. But I lack enough funds and would never start such an enterprise with borrowed money.
