Music magazines are dying

Why? These three reasons sound sensible.

The three reasons may well be reasonable, but . . .

My students (mostly 18-23 for undergrads) either don't read at all for pleasure, or don't have the time between work and school. They *listen* to music.

I, however, wonder how I'll ever be able to enjoy music again without the 'music press' to 'splain' the other 50% of the 'music' to me.

Perhaps a closer and more unbiased examination by the author would have included the terms 'hubris' and 'pretentious', among others.
