"American college grads: Homebodies with worthless degrees"

One more bit of support for the argument that big changes are coming to American higher education, and soon. The senior vice-president of human resources at Abbott Labs is quoted as saying:

I hate to say we don't have the world's best universities. We may have the best minds, the best liberal arts education. The problem is it doesn't match the work anymore.

I don't have these graduates in Europe and Asia telling us they want to live with mom and dad or they don't want to relocate to Asia

If he thinks that the typical graduate has an excellent liberal arts education, then either he's met an atypical bunch of graduates, or he doesn't know much about what a liberal arts education should be.
