Top 10 "Paradises on Earth"
Your mileage may vary. Number one is supposedly Tristan da Cunha.

I've been to their number 2, The Cotswolds, England, and while it was fun, I didn't include it in my list of best views I'd experienced a few months back here.
Not nearly as much fun as staying in the Parador across the river from Toledo or the one inside the Alhambra.

maybe 8, 6, 3, and 2 But certainly not any of the equatorial islands. Having lived my life in the gulf coast area I certainly do not count anyplace that is hot and humid as any sort of paradise.

After I saw this post I went and read about Tristan da Cunha. Apparently it is a creepy, half-inbred, socialist dystopia. There are basically 8 families (which are made up of 271 nuclear families). No outsiders are allowed to settle there, and weird laws prevent anyone from having too many farm animals.
Also, the inbreeding gave everyone asthma.
