Three infamous lies

"The check is in the mail."

Well, she's right, you know. Bi-partisan in Lefty speak has *always* meant Republicans agreeing to do (or at least not obstruct) whatever Democrats (especially the more Lefty Democrats) want.

With "substantial majorities" (including, I'd guess, a filibuster-proof Senate) the Republicans won't be able to obstruct and disagreeing won't get them anything, so many will go along.

Given the behavior of the Republicans when they controlled Washington, I'm having trouble coming up with reasons why we would expect Republicans to be opposed to the Democratic proposals.
