How to implement mass transit

Thanks to Ironman at Political Calculations for tipping me off to his really imaginative solution to our traffic/mass transporation problems.

I'm 100% in favor of it so long as university faculty are exempted for another dozen years or so.

Interesting post. It is very true, not unlike NIMBYism, the people want everyone else but them off the road. Maybe the better target though, rather than all government employees, would just be those of your regional transit authority, DOT, and any other transportation specific government agency.

Whatever happened to offset work hours and days to ease congestion? And telecommuting?

I think people are just trying to get away from spouses and children! j/k

You mean my school would have to *INCREASE* parking space to 20%?? Wow!! I'm all for that.
